Supported Employment & Vocational Services
Supported Employment is a distinct CES Waiver service with its own competency requirements (NADSP Area 9). Job coaches need skills that are nowhere in standard CES orientation: job task analysis, systematic instruction, workplace communication, and employment-specific documentation for billing.
