Caregiver Self-Care & Burnout Prevention
Burnout is a leading driver of DSP turnover, with 64% of departures happening in the first year. Self-care training is listed in DC's and other states' DSP curricula as required — but is entirely absent from Arkansas CES requirements. This course teaches you to recognize compassion fatigue, identify your personal stress triggers, apply evidence-based self-care strategies, and use EAP resources before crisis hits.
