Medication Administration Awareness
DSPs in Arkansas supportive living settings frequently assist with medications. CES standards permit health maintenance activities — but a foundational medication awareness course (not administration certification) is needed to bridge the knowledge gap. This course covers the 6 Rights of medication assistance, common medication classes, adverse reaction recognition, and documentation. Note: This course does not replace medication administration certification.
