AR-CDSP III — Specialist

The specialist tier of the CHART pathway. AR-CDSP III prepares experienced DSPs for senior responsibilities: mentoring new DSPs, leading advanced behavioral support, coordinating health across hospital transitions, conducting peer quality audits, and laying the groundwork for the CNA pathway. Required prerequisite: AR-CDSP II.

What you will learn

• Mentor newly hired DSPs through their first 90 days
• Apply advanced behavioral support strategies for complex presentations
• Coordinate care across hospital admissions, discharges, and transitions
• Conduct peer-level quality audits of documentation and service delivery
• Bridge into the CNA + Home Support Specialist pathway (AR-CNHS)
• Lead person-centered team meetings as a senior DSP
• Complete Level 3 CPR/AED renewal and incident-response leadership
