AR-CDSP II — Proficiency

The second tier of the CHART pathway. Proficiency builds on Foundation with the deeper competencies a working DSP needs after their first year: confident PCSP advocacy, audit-ready EVV documentation, behavior plan implementation, vital-signs awareness, and a Level 2 CPR/AED renewal. Designed for DSPs who have completed AR-CDSP I and are ready to expand their scope and responsibility.

What you will learn

• Advocate for the people you support during PCSP meetings and reviews
• Document EVV cleanly to Arkansas Total Care audit standards
• Implement a behavior support plan written by a behavior specialist
• Recognize early warning signs in vital signs and report appropriately
• Perform CPR/AED at the Level 2 responder standard
• Mentor new staff during their orientation period
• Prepare for progression into AR-CDSP III — Specialist
